Why Creative Awards Matter.
We think the best approach is to look at “award-winning” as the beginning of our conversation. It gives you an opening to light your fire. But most of all it will help you decide if our production company is a good fit for your needs.
Most clients don’t care about awards. What is important is finding out about the actual success of our work. And as the owners of a production studio, there is only one thing that counts. Your satisfaction.
At CutBoard, we aren’t striving to win awards. We are aiming for our client’s success. Awards are just the icing on an already successful cake. Are you ready for cake? We sure are!
In 2017, CutBoard reeled in its first two Telly Awards.
One for our client Silverbow Fly Shop and the other for our PBS documentary series “Way of the Columbia”.
Telly Awards are presented annually to respected advertising agencies and production companies in the world for their best work. This prestigious award recognizes premier TV commercials and programs, videos, and films.
“The Telly Awards has a mission to honor the very best in film and video,” said Linda Day, Executive Director of the Telly Awards. “Pursuant’s accomplishment illustrates their creativity, skill, and dedication to their craft and serves as a testament to great film and video production.”
This year’s winners include companies, agencies and organizations of all sizes, from large multinational media companies to small ad agencies and local production houses. A sample of winners include:
BET Networks, Bloomberg, CBS Interactive, Comcast, Conde Nast, DigiDojo, Discovery Communications, Disney, ESPN, FleishmanHillard, Fox, HBO, Hearst, HOBO, HuffPost, Indigo Films, IW Group, Microsoft, MLB, NBC, PBS, SapientNitro, Story House, Team Coco Digital, The Guardian, The History Channel, Time Warner, Tiny Hero, Trailer Park, Universal, Vayner Media, Viacom, and VML.
CutBoard Studio is proud to be afforded the opportunity to be considered amongst these great companies and organizations.
“The biggest kudos come from our clients,” says Aaron Nepean, President of CutBoard Studio “but being recognized by our peers is a great feeling.”
Hey, would you please take this rod? Catch some fish. We are ready to film it. 2017 has been the year of the fish. Tanya our Creative Director asked if 2018 could be year of the lamprey … it’s still under negotiation.
